Reading a Listing Before You Buy

Because a gift is often bought without the recipient beside you, the product page has to do more work than usual. We aim to describe each piece plainly: what it is, what it is made from, how large it is, what travels inside the box, and whether personalization is included.

Please look at the photos and read the description together. Props and extra items shown in a picture are included only when the description names them as part of the product. Colors can read differently from screen to screen, and handmade or personalized pieces may vary a little in grain, tone, texture, or finish. Those differences are often part of how such pieces are made rather than a fault.

Where a listing offers personalization, engraving, printing, or another custom touch, please slow down and check the details. Spelling, dates, initials, sizing, and placement matter more than usual, because a customized piece is made for one person and cannot return to the shelf for the next customer. If you are unsure how a custom option will appear, ask us before you order.
